Michigan is Number One in AP Poll: Jan 28th, 2013

Three SEC teams show up in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are Florida at #4, Ole Miss (#16), and Missouri (#17).

Florida moves up four spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at Georgia, 64-47. After that came another win at Mississippi State, 82-47.

Ole Miss moves up seven places after wins against Auburn, 63-61 and Tennessee, 62-56. Missouri moves up five spots after wins against Vanderbilt, 81-59 and South Carolina, 71-65.

Michigan takes over the number one ranking following a week in which they first got a victory at home against Purdue, 68-53. After that came another win at Illinois, 74-60. Duke lost their number one ranking with a win against Maryland, 84-64 and a loss to then-25th ranked Miami (FL), 90-63. San Diego State enters the Top 25 at #22 with a win at Nevada, 78-57 and an upset win at home over then-15th ranked New Mexico, 55-34. Marquette comes in at #25 with a win against Providence, 81-71. Virginia Commonwealth drops out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Richmond, 86-74 and an upset loss at home to La Salle, 69-61. Notre Dame also drops out this week.
